Launchpad
Launchpad is an organisation based in Newcastle on Tyne, run by and for people experiencing mental health problems. They are involved in the planning, delivery, monitoring and evaluation of Mental Health services. Launchpad work with carers, voluntary sector and other agencies towards better Mental Health services locally and nationally. We also partner other organisations to further the cause of mental health issues.

Mental After Care Association
Works with 2500 people with severe or enduring mental-heath needs, in more than 100 different projects across the country including advocacy, day services, outreach etc.

Mental Health International Development
MHID is a new not-for-profit organisation launched on 1st January 2005

MHID exists to empower people with mental health problems to take control of own lives and contribute to the development of their local communities and society. As the name suggests, MHID is concerned primarily with an international perspective.

Rethink
Formerly 'The National Schizophrenia Fellowship', Rethink, as it is now known, is the largest severe mental illness charity in the UK.

The Scottish Association for Mental Health
The Scottish Association for Mental Health (SAMH) is the leading mental health charity in Scotland. As well as campaigning on policy issues and providing a Scotland-wide information service the Association offers direct services to people with mental health problems across Scotland through a range of projects.

Sane
Formerly focussing on schizophrenia, Sane now works to raise awareness and respect for people with mental illness and their families, improve education and training, and secure better services; initiates and fund research into the causes of serious mental illness; provides information and emotional support to those experiencing mental health problems, their families and carers.

Mind out
An active campaign to stop the stigma and discrimination surrounding mental health.

Promoting Lesbian and Gay Health and Well Being
PACE is an organisation which responds to the emotional, mental and physical health needs of lesbians and gay men in the greater London area.
