You are invited to take part in this study, by a Research Team at the Mental Health Foundation. The study will explore what role service users think the 2008 Care Programme Approach can have in promoting recovery, as they understand it. People who complete the questionnaire will be invited to express interest in attending a focus group as well.

Supporting Innovation in Safeguarding, Personalisation and Citizenship;intended to form a key underpinning development for the critical issues facing Social Care workforce transformation. The programme takes a human right based approach, promoting leadership that recognises and prioritises individual and collective rights. Therefore it has particular relevance to support initiatives related to improving Dignity in Care and the Think Personal, Act Local agenda which sets direction for personalisation and community-based support. This report is the outcome of an evaluation of the Ambassador Programme that was established as part of the programme Delivering Race Equality in Mental Health Care. The report was commissioned by NMHDU in partnership with Ambassadors. The report will be useful for anyone considering models for ensuring that service users and carers shape services at local, regional and strategic levels.
